Opening of the Risk Management reference library in Benin

Official launch of the first Reference Library in Risk Management in Benin, a unique space dedicated to the documentation, research and promotion of best practices in Management of the RisksThis initiative marks a major step forward for professionals, students and institutions concerned with anticipating, assessing and controlling risks in their organizations.

The opening of this library aims to:

  • 📖 Centralize specialized resources: books, reports, scientific journals, case studies, international standards (ISO 31000, COSO ERM, etc.).

  • 👩‍🎓 Strengthen local capacities: provide easier access to knowledge for students, researchers and professionals.

  • 🤝 Encourage networking: create a meeting point between Risk Management practitioners, security managers, internal auditors, etc.

  • 🚀 Promote a culture of proactive risk management in the public, private and non-profit sectors.

  • 🌍 Promote the adoption of international standards in governance, compliance and organizational resilience.

Why is this library essential in Benin?

In a context of increasing risks (cyberattacks, financial risks, natural disasters, regulatory instability), it is becoming imperative to structure local Risk Management capabilities.

This library aims to become a regional center of excellence for all of French-speaking West Africa, by supporting:

  • There continuing education

  • There applied research

  • THE sharing of best practices

  • There informed strategic decision-making
