32nd International Risk Management Meeting – Deauville 🇫🇷 x 🇧🇯

From February 5 to 7, 2025, the president of AMRAB had the honor of participating in the 32nd edition of the International Risk Management Meetings in Deauville.

This meeting provided an opportunity to engage with key players in the Risk Management sector, with a focus on the specific challenges and opportunities facing Africa. This year, the theme "The Art of Risk" highlighted a key paradigm shift: beyond traditional technical approaches, risk management today requires flexibility, agility, and anticipation to address a world that has been constantly changing since the Covid-19 crisis.

In an uncertain environment on the continent, and particularly in Benin, data analysis for excellent risk analysis is essential as a strategic lever.

With the Francorisk Club, a partner association, a round table on the contribution of AI to efficient data processing for a more accurate quantification of risks by African insurers, aroused the interest of several African delegations and those of the diaspora of risk managers from France present in Deauville:
– Automate reporting and analyses to manage risks in real time
– Integrate AI while ensuring control and interpretability of results
– Ensure compliance with constantly changing regulations

Another round table discussed geopolitical risks on the continent and how to develop our resilience through risk management techniques.

🙏🏾 A big thank you to Club Francorisk and AMRAE for this unique opportunity for collaboration and sharing.

AMRAB is more committed than ever to bringing this dynamic to Benin, Africa and the world, and then to actively contributing to the promotion of the culture of Risk Management among private and public organizations in Benin.
