A unique meeting for a strategic profession

AMRAB organized the very first meeting of Risk Managers, a unique event that brought together risk management professionals, security experts, quality managers, and members committed to organizational resilience.

This meeting marks the beginning of a cycle of discussions and reflections around a crucial issue for organizations: the identification, assessment and control of risks in an increasingly complex environment.

Rich discussions around risk culture

The day began with a presentation of the strategic role of the Risk Manager, who recalled the importance of a cross-functional approach to risk management.

Several themes were addressed throughout the meeting:

• The main types of risks (operational, financial, legal, IT, human)

• The importance of risk mapping

• Crisis management and business continuity

• Interdepartmental collaboration in risk detection and reduction

Participants had the opportunity to share their experiences and best practices, in a spirit of listening and co-construction.

Objectives and perspectives

This first meeting aimed to create a space for regular exchange between risk professionals, whether they are experienced or beginners. Several participants expressed their wish to see the birth of a local network of Risk Managers, able to organize:

• Thematic training workshops

• Crisis management simulations

• A collaborative alert system for new types of threats

The first meeting of Risk Managers is a important milestone for the professionalization of risk management within our organizationsIt enabled us to build links, to compare approaches and, above all, to lay the foundations for a common risk culture.
